Build. Ship. Win.
VIBEATHON is HEC's cross-program hackathon bringing together builders, designers, engineers, and founders for a 24-hour sprint to create real products, solve real problems, and compete for sponsor bounties.

Your submission should bring your idea to life through:
It is possible to win multiple tracks.
Build something bold from scratch. You are free to create any idea — a product, a platform, or a completely new way of doing things — as long as it solves a real problem and has the potential to grow into something meaningful. We are looking for ideas that are not only creative, but clearly thought through: a strong understanding of the problem, a compelling solution, and a vision for how it could evolve beyond this weekend.
Reimagine the future of healthcare. Build solutions that improve prevention, tools for professionals, and speed from discovery to treatment. Think prevention, tools for healthcare professionals, reducing the time from discovery to treatment. Projects can tackle prevention, diagnosis support, patient communication, clinical workflows — anything where AI can make a meaningful difference in healthcare.
Create products that users genuinely enjoy using. Reward teams who leverage Lovable creatively and build intuitive, elegant experiences. Best use of Lovable. We're looking for the most creative and functional product built with Lovable.
Build something with real GCC market potential — what you ship matters more than what you say. Builder mindset over pitch polish. We reward international ambition and solutions designed to scale in one of the world's fastest-moving regions. Focus areas: Smart cities & urban infrastructure, operational efficiency & process automation, climate & resource efficiency (energy, water, waste), AI-native applications built for the GCC context, trade logistics & cross-border commerce.
Design solutions with strong real-world applicability and long-term potential. Ideas that can be tested, deployed, and scaled in real environments. This year we're partnering with AMANII (AI copilot for midwives detecting postpartum depression in Côte d'Ivoire) and Stop au Chat Noir (tools to support access to justice for survivors in Côte d'Ivoire). Mental health is deeply taboo in CIV, young women have almost no access to psychologists, and midwives often end up filling that role without any training for it. The decision stays human — AI structures and supports.

Today, every day a drug launch is delayed can cost up to $800,000 in lost revenue. Yet clinical trial decisions are still made through a slow and opaque process — teams rely on spreadsheets, iterate for weeks with CROs, and ultimately commit based on just one or two scenarios. The problem is not just speed. It’s that teams cannot explore enough options before making multi-million decisions. We built Axion to fix this.

ClearRead connects NHS and private radiology centres with freelance radiologists for remote reporting. Centres post imaging cases, get AI-matched to the best radiologist, and receive structured digital reports in real time.
