What weekend coders built on tinytools in April 2026

A month of static apps from Claude, Lovable, v0, and Cursor — plus a few that couldn't be categorized and that's exactly why they're worth your attention.

This is the first in a monthly series. Every recap pulls live numbers from the catalog, picks out what felt interesting to try, and writes briefly about what the submissions taken together seem to say about where vibe coding is heading.

The bar for inclusion is low: if you shipped something to tinytools this month, you're in the gallery below. The bar for the call-outs is higher — these are the ones that made me stop and share them with someone.

Claude artifacts keep getting more ambitious

The gap between "a Claude artifact" and "a small web app" is closing fast. A year ago artifacts were mostly visualizations and single-screen toys. This month I saw multi-screen apps with persisted state, custom-styled forms, and real interaction loops — all out of a single prompt-and-iterate session. The builders didn't brag about the stack and honestly you wouldn't know unless they told you.

Lovable and v0 are showing up as the default for MVPs

A noticeable chunk of the URL-based submissions this month pointed at Lovable or v0 preview URLs. The pattern is: someone has an idea on Friday, hits a preview URL on Saturday, submits to tinytools Sunday, and has analytics on their first users by Monday. The cycle compresses a bit more every month.

The weird stuff still wins

The tool I shared with the most people this month wasn't useful in any conventional sense. It was a one-page experiment that did something funny and specific. Utility lists have a ceiling for virality; personality does not. If you're deciding what to ship next weekend, consider that.
